Newly diagnosed in June of this year. My Sebastian, an 11 year old Maine Coon mix, developed diabetes which I found out about after having to cut my vacation short because he was so ill. I think he may be going into remission as his BG levels have been in the low to mid 70's for 3 days now. Hasn't had any insulin since the first 66 reading Saturday morning . His blood glucose levels have been running anywhere from 67 to 87 for the last two days . I've been testing him two hours after he eats, twice a day. I'm new to all this so I hope this is a good thing.
