Diego just ate almost a half a can of FF chicken pate. I syringe fed him for 2.5 days because he was refusing food. Looks like the Flagyl is kicking in. Thank every single last one of you for being so supportive the last couple of days as I experienced his first hunger strike.

so beyond excited. I did give him 125 ml of fluids tonight to go with that. His gums are very pale. That combined with the food he ate should make him start to feel much better. Starting tomorrow, if he's feeling up to it I will take him out for a graze around the yard on his new harness. He went once before he developed his IBS-like symptoms and really seemed to enjoy it. In the meantime I've got the windows open so he can relax and feel the cool breeze. Taking a mind/body/spirit approach to his healing.
