Having trouble with the pen

It seems Chloe was better regulated when I was using the old vial. It's so hard to give small doses. Please look at my SS and tell me what you think. Thanks.

Your issue is not the pen. In my opinion it’s the dosing. Under 50 calls for a reduction but you skip a shot and then go back to the dose that led to the low number. So Chloe is bouncing around. A lot. Please read the dosing methods. Pick one and follow it. See if I am right.

I agree, you keep increasing when you get bounce numbers. The depot is being messed up as well. It's time for Chloe to get more consistent, smaller doses like we talked about. Chloe's BG doesn't care if it's difficult for the caregiver. Gotta play the sugar game by the rules to win.

My vet said not to shoot if she is under 150. I'll email her the SS and see how she responds. Also, Chloe just pooped on the bed again.

If you skip please do not go back to the dose that brought her so low. Reduce the dose by .25 and maybe you won’t need to skip. Skipping doesn’t work so well with depot drugs as it creates wonky cycles but of course do as your vet suggests.
