4 Cats, 1 diabetic just coming out of remission/honeymoon (She put the weight back on)

Currently they are on Blue wilderness dry and wet. They love the dry, not a fan of the wet so I'm looking at other options... Except for carol she winds up eating everyone else's food and put her weight back on. So want something they will all eat

I've heard good things about Merrick, The other on my list is Evo (though have heard it can be to rich) and Natures Variety Instinct there is also welllness is just out of our budget with 4 mouths to feed.

Any other options? Won't do anything with "Bi-products, or stuff like that" so that canceled alot of the other brands.

Here is the list of foods we recommend for canned food:

http://www.catinfo.org/docs/FoodChartPublic9-22-12.pdf

the dry blue buffalo is HIGH carbs, that is what I used to feed my cats and am sure its what led to my cats gaining weight (even though it was supposed to be for weight management) and a diagnosis of diabetes. NO dry food is recommended BUT if it is a must, we suggest Young Again Zero carbs (5% carbs), EVO cat and kitten (12% carbs) or Stella and Chewys freeze dried (1% carbs I THINK) My cats didn't like the EVO, but LOVE the Young again. It is pricey and you can only buy it online but they guarantee their food, if you dont like it return it. Also if you email them they will send you a sample for free. Also, when considering the price they eat less of it.

When it comes to the canned, everyone has their own preference. Consistency, flavor, price, and of course our cats input all play a part. I am currently feeding merrick (chicken pate, turkey pate, and beef pate) I have been feeding this to my cats for about 3 months and I was happy at first but now in my opinion quality has went down and I am looking to switch them....right now on the top of my list is Holistic select.

One of my favorites and my cats so far though, are Tiki. They are low carb, no by products and actually look and smell like REAL food. I only stopped feeding it because my diabetic Hidey is missing 3 back teeth, and his upper canines and had a hard time chewing it. Im considering trying again and from a tip of another member chopping it or putting it in the food processor.

I don't know where you currently buy your food, but I have 3 cats and buy in bulk and purchase from Chewy.com Their customer service is beyond great, free shipping after $49, and you can return if your cat doesnt like it...although Ive never had to do that, theyve just told me to donate it to a shelter and refunded me anyways. Their prices have been the cheapest I have found too :)

How about something I can get at petco or petsmart? What at about merrick or instinct dry, with 4 cats it's a must

EVO dry you can find at some pet stores. If you go to their website there is their is a store locator. Merrick dry and instinct dry are too high of carbs. Theres also Wysong epigen 90 someone posted is low carb. Once again if you go to their website you can use the store locator.
