This may seems dumb to you guys but I just want to make sure of doing this right. So I am going up to 1.25 starting today. I can recheck him at +6 today which I will do.

First off the only dumb question is the one that goes unasked. 
And yep you are correct go on up to 1.25 this morning...he is still high enough at nadir to be able to go up another .25u without too much worry. But still glad you will be able to get a spot check on him today.
