Hard, crusty spots on both side of cats nose. Is this diabetes caused?

I discovered the hard, crusty spots on both sidesnof my cats nose. I'm not postive how long they have been there, but pretty sure not before his diabetic diagnosis a month ago and vet never said anything in all the times we have been there recently.
Has anyone ever had something like this pop up on there diabetic cat should I be worried. I honestly can't afford another vet visit right now.

I have no seen any spots like this before on diabetic cats that I am aware of.
Have you tried cleaning them to see if anything comes out of them?
I will ask @Suzanne & Darcy if she has seen them.
