Why is step daughter having 4 teeth pulled?
When she was very young she had cronic bad ear infections and the meds they gave her back then made the enamel on her teeth very weak and then when she got pregnant with her son 4 years ago since she was so young (16) her diet wasn't the best in the world and that further compromised her teeth, so now she is about to lose 4 more, already lost the wisdom teeth and these are the ones that the wisdom teeth were rubbing against.
I can really feel for her as I had to have all of mine pulled back when I was 38 but for an entirely different reason, mine where very brittle from the drugs they gave me as a baby when I had Scarlet Fever, then I married an idiot the first time around and he managed to break most of them so now mine go in a cup at night.. But since they are going to have to pull so many on her they don't want her driving, so the other grandma gets the grandbabies and I get to play taxi.
At least the wind is suppose to be down tomorrow so I won't have to fight that while out, I hate driving our truck when it is super windy and Maxwell just hates the wind, but I can't blame him after surviving a hurricane. But I do feel bad for him when the wind really gets to howling out here, my big confident guy turns into a clingy shaking fellow. He wants me to either hold all 17 lbs of him or carrying him everywhere I go when it is super windy out and he only gets worse if it is also raining. Thankfully if the forecast holds for tomorrow we should have a beautiful day to make our outing, so far they are saying 60 degrees and sunny Yay!
Musette is looking really good on the .75 she was already back into the blue numbers by +3 tonight as she tested at 198 then. And she is just so much more relaxed on the Lev. She doesn't drop terribly fast anymore and even when she starts to climb it is nice and slow I have lots of hope for her now that we made the switch. I know I certainly feel better about when I have to leave her for extended periods of time in the evenings to go out with my husband again to hear his band play, I'm not nearly so worried about her taking a nose dive while we are gone. Also most of his gigs right now are fairly close so we can be home by about 3am, he does have one coming up in a couple of weeks that will be an overnight trip but the owner of the bar where they are playing is family and has an apartment for the band to stay in and has already given his blessing for us to bring Maxwell and Musette with us so that we can make sure she gets her insulin on time and that I will be around to test her. Kind of a nice benefit of two of his band mates also being insulin dependent diabetics and all of them being cat lovers.
