Hi everybody,

Just checking in with an update: Tuffy has been doing well. Well, except for her new propensity to pee under my roll top desk. Not sure what that is about. Maybe I need to change the decor. Her numbers have stayed in the same range for some time. Even though I don't have time to post as much as I'd like, I am inspired to see so many kitties going OTJ. I thought it was a rarity. I recall that Tuffy was OTJ once, but somehow ended up back on. I know that makes her chances of doing it again less likely, but we will have hope :)

Other than the smell in my office, we are hanging in there, baby! Barb's other kitties are finally starting to relax. We will try to find them new homes soon, but its so hard to break up the trio.

Have a Happy Easter All,
N,D&T

I hope you all have a Happy Easter :)

It would be great to see some pictures of our Tuffy and friends, some time.

Enjoy your day.

Hmmmmm.... That's not like Tuffy to not use her box. Is there any chance of a UTI? Are there territory issues?

Tuffy was OTJ. I think when Barb broke her hip, Tuffy became incredibly stressed, her numbers went wonky, and, in fact I think she went through an episode of DKA.

Morning Nada! HAPPY EASTER!!!

It is great to see Tuffy doing so well with the BG's. You guys have done great with her. The numjbers and how you dealt with the lows are awesome! Keep on doing what you are doing. Tuffy obviously likes it all. and ya never know... she may just go OTJ again. paws crossed!

Bummer on the LB thing. I wonder on that... I'm trying to remember if Barb ever mentioned issues with the LB. I do remember barb mentioning on occasion that she had her checked for UTI's, they were always negative. Hmmmmm almsot sounds like there is something she doesn't like, that she's making a statement. Barb always said that she rules the house.

Yupp, Tuffy was OTJ for quite sometime. I too believe it was Barb's accident that sent her out of remission. Tuffy was pretty upset about the whole thing. Sometimes too they come out of remission for no apparent reason. I know Barb had her to the vet back then, a few months after he accident, as Tuffy obviously wasn't feeling well, not eating well, and her ketone testing showed evidence (trace) of keytones, Odd in itself as Tuffy never really was prone to them... Anyways - the vet trip showed a mild pancreatitis flare, but no DKA. After that, Barb treated most of what she thought were flares at home.

WOOT on the others. I am so glad that they are adjusting. I so know on braking up the trio, once that time comes. I wish I could remember which two Barb said she hoped would always be together, that they were bonded. I just can't remember....

Happy Easter to you, and your family!

Happy Easter :-D
Great looking numbers for Tuffy. Fingers crossed on a quick remission with bg's like that! It's all such a tough situation for you and the kitties, but it is nice to hear everyone is doing well. The LB issue could definitely be stress from the changes in her life. Whatever it is, I hope it rectifies soon. And good luck with the rehoming. I hope someone decides to keep them together. Maybe you could do an "Adopt two, get one free" deal??? :-D :-D
Good luck with everything and enjoy the day!

Hi Nada!!

i agree with Sienne. I never heard of Barb mentioning that Tuffy missed using her LB. Gorgeous numbers for her! You all are definitely doing something right.

I'm glad the others are doing well, too!!
