WOW! THANK YOU ALL! I'm just seeing this this morning....you all just gave me another day of celebration!!!! WOOT WOOT! YARD DANCE!!!
...and I don't have pics to post but I'll share my VERY unexpected birthday gift - we've been adopted again!!! Altho' this one could easily find a new home, something tells me he was meant to be here. A week ago yesterday, I was coming home after leaving Snowshoe at vet with severely impacted bowel. On the way home out in the middle of nowhere - only fields - always sits a beautiful red-tail hawk. I always look for him to enjoy his beauty. I spotted him about the time he swooped down after 'prey'. That 'prey' ran, stumbling and slipping across the road in front of me - 7 ounces of white kitten with orange ears and tail. I honked at the hawk, slammed on the brakes, jumped out and scooped up kitty. He'd made it to the side of the road but that's as far as he could go - he's only 5-6 weeks old and TINY. He can't even walk steady yet much less run! He's been here for a week, he's doubled his weight, he can eat soft food altho' keeps trying to nurse. He's still TINY but he's got a HUGE VOICE! We haven't named him yet - 'Hawk' was the first attempt but that doesn't fit. His home so far is in a huge crate in the sunroom with Pepper and Lily. Dakota just LOVES him to pieces! Just ask him, it's HIS baby! Leo's scared of him, KT says "no way", Snow is OK but not sure about those loud noises coming out of that little fuzzy body.
SO - DANCE WITH US!!!! THANK YOU ALL AGAIN!!!
