Not only is it Klinger's birthday, it has been a month since the dental/cardiac arrest. Two reasons to celebrate!! Klinger and Radar will be dining on shrimp tonight. nom, nom, nom.
Klinger's been doing well, he's enjoying the nice weather we've been having. His vision has improved - at least as far as we can tell. His fur is slowly growing in, but it will probably take a few months. Overall he seems to be feeling pretty darn good. :-D

The boys hanging out on the tree, Radar wondering when will it be his turn... Klinger feeling like the King of the castle - which he is!


Radar tuckered out from celebrating Klinger's birthday and dreaming of his own party...


All of the tunnels they sell at the pet places are too small for Klinger. We found the one (pictured with Radar) on Ebay - it's for toddlers, but it's a perfect fit for Klinger. :-D

That's really cool to find a tunnel for "bigger" kitties. I always had to get or make larger things for Gandalf. His cat tree is almost 6' tall with 2' square platforms, hand-made. No one uses it now, like it was only for him. I was so happy to read how to make large tubs into litter boxes, because I only ever found one that I felt was big enough for him and then I had to keep the top off.

The picture of Klinger in the window is a really good sign. His vision must be good enough to see what is going on out there or he wouldn't bother to perch there. Happy Birthday, Klinger!

Love the new pics Klinger looks like he is just about fully recovered! :-D And Radar is getting so big! We need one of those over sized tunnels here for the BIG kids...lol.

Boy, that looks like a fun place for kitties to hang out! Very glad to hear that Klinger's eyesight is still improving. And Happy belated Birthday Klinger!
 
Thanks, ladies! It's so funny...I never realized just how BIG Klinger was until we got Radar.
When we adopted Radar, we picked up a smaller litter box - kitten size, really...guess which litter box Klinger loves to use. It's so funny to watch him tip toe around in there. :lol:
 
Happy very belated birthday to Klinger! I came over here to see if I could find out how he's doing and it sounds like he's doing well. That's awesome to hear! Great pictures. I never realized that Klinger was "big" - enough to need a toddler's tunnel. OMG!
