I just thought I'd check in after this week and say that we're still here.
Cotton's having a rough time of it and our guest room is officially a sick room at the moment. His bronchitis is starting to show a few signs of improvement (he's breathing easier and less congested) although he's still not eating on his own and his blood sugar is still high, but one thing at a time, I guess.
We've resorted to the low-carb, gluten free list of Fancy Feast foods and found at least 4 of them available in our area. They're easier to assist feed than the ones he'd been getting since they're softer, but he's still not fond of the assist feed. I keep telling him that if he'd eat on his own, I promise to stop sticking my fingers in his mouth. ;-)
So that's where we are. not nearly as much improvement as I'd like, but at least we're hanging in there.
