Yo Kitties,
It's here! Halloween!! The best night of the year!! The night when the veil between the earthly and heavenly realms is thinnest and we can see and hear our beloved GAs. We'll be partying and they will be partying at the Bridge. So come one and all to our L&LL party. It will be in my barn. There'll be barn dancing, singing, we'll take a walk down the road to a farm where we can have fun in the corn maze. We'll go Trick-or-Treating. And we'll go out on the lawn where we'll have a good view of the Halloween sky to have our Circle of Remembrance, when we communicate with all of our GA pals, sisters and brothers. Wear your costumes. We'll have prizes for the best costumes. Emma will pick you up in the L&LL Kitty Bus, or you can catch a ride on a witch's broom (if you are a black cat). The Flying Kangaroos, disguised as witches, will pick up all the Aussie kitties and swing by Europe, too. See you tonight. Don't miss this terrific party!

Here's the menu for the party. Kitchen Krew, come early: lots to do!

Appetizers: Witches' Micro Brews; Double-trouble Niptinis; Green Grog; Deviled Black Duck Eggs; Mousefoot Salsa on Nip Crackers; Bubbling Cauldron Cheese Dip; Mouse Mousse; Paw Prints Special Halloween Pizzas; Bog Clams Steamed in the Cauldron.
Entrees: Brunswick Stew; Baked Rats in Puff Pastry; Howling Buffalo Wings; Ghoulish Goulash; Turkey Pumpkin Casserole; Crunchy Tarantula Tacos; Eyes of Newt.
Salad: Tossed Witches' Broom.
Desserts: Cimmamum Cobweb Cookies; Jack-o'-Lantern Cake; Black Cheesecakes; Pumpkin Bars.
 
Yo Rusty, I'm so excited! Can I bring my mistresses personal bartender? He is really good and has a bit of a reputation in these parts. He is a southern cockroach we rescued named Milquetoast. Think about it, six legs all working in unison mixing and delivering every bodies favorite cocktail. His speciality is Gin and Tonics. As an added bonus he cleans up afterwards ! Let me know, can't wait to see y'all , Titan.
 
I'm happy to help prep with the Kitchen Krew if I can have first taste of the Baked Rat in Puff Pastry! I can't decide if I should be Batman or Human...

On my way! I be finding a witch's broom to catch cuz I'z black. Roxi 'n' Licorice needz to catch da bus cuz they not black kitties. Da fuds looks great. Tarantula Tacos...yum, yum...I loves spider snacks! And I'z looking forward to da best Circle of Remembrance of the whole year - da Halloween one where my Rosa is even closer than usual. ~Regan
 
Yo! This is such a great party. The costumes are super, the fuds are being gobbled up, the clouds are scudding across the sky and the moon is peeking through. Listen! I can hear the Celestial Chorus! The Circle of Remembrance is beginning. I can see our GAs, sitting around their banquet table feasting. I can see all of my old friends from the kitchen! Chef Mannie, my mentor, is carefully poaching a celestial fish. And Chef Stu, his mentor, is whipping up his World Famous Catmint Parfaits. The whole Bridge Kitchen is working: Chief Pastry Chef Tess, Sushi Chef Neko, Salad Chefs Butthead and Donney, Dessert Chef Sootie, Cheesecake specialist Maggie. What a party. All the L&LL kitties are seeing and talking with their GA brothers & sisters and their GA pals. We are so lucky to have our L&LL community, and so lucky to have had so many wonderful friends watching over us and being our Guardian Angels.

Party on! Soon the dancing will start. May all of my friends at the Bridge know how much I love them, and how often I think of the wonderful adventures we shared.

On this night of remembrance, let us be thankful for those that have touched our lives in the past and are patiently waiting for us at the Bridge and be hopeful for those that are still with us... that they continue to benefit from the knowledge and experience of those that share it with others and live as long and as healthy as possible.

The list makes me sad :(
I know the list happens every year, but, when you've come to "know" the kitties and caregivers... it just tears at my heart. I'm sure they were all present at The Party and their loved brothers and sisters got to see them, those that who miss them so.

Can't believe I missed the party because the hoomoms schedule my dental on Halloween, of all day! I still had ma own pawty on the Gaba and Bupe last night, so I was partying with you all in spirit! I'm continuing into today since I missed all the fun! :p

May all those who lost their kitties in the past year, and before that, take comfort in the happy memories they shared with their babies. It's never easy to say goodbye to our loved ones :rb_icon: Rest in peace my little Bagheera - my black kitty boy always loved Hallowen cat_wings>o
