Is there a hairball remedy for diabetic cats? I used to use Laxatone...but not sure if that is safe.

We use VetBasis, but I have heard it is hard to find. Another one I have heard about is Natural Hairball Aid by NaturVet.

An alternative would be to get some of the fiber addictives you can add to the cat's food. There are several out on the market without sugar.My cats never ate the stuff out of the tubes. The extra fiber should get rid of most hair out of the cats system.If your kitty will cooerate you can also brush or comb them a few times a week to remove excessive hair.
