WOO HOO after 10hrs...checked Harley's BG and he was at 206 having given him 2.5 units this morning...I just pray this was not a fluke and we can keep him that way...i'm going to give him just 1 unit tonight and see what his #'s are in the morning....I'm just sooo excited he has never been below 250 since diagnosed...I thank everyone on this board for all your advise and encouragement...without you all we wouldn't be here!!!!

That is good news! What was his number this morning when you gave him the shot?
One thing you want to be sure of (this is Prozinc, right?) is that the number you get in a couple of hours is higher than the 206. I'll be around if you need any help later.

yes i'm excited...he wouldn't let me take it this morning he was very naughty...lol..and I didn't have anyone here to help me wrangle him in...I had to fight to the this one, but finally did..I would poke he would wipe his ear before I could get the sample..we had to do that a few times this evening...lol...he doesn't mind his insulin shot but it has been a nightmare trying to get his blood...lol...I can report that he is gaining weight, and has much more energy that he has had in the past...I will let you know in the morning what his blood was then *fingers crossed* he doesn't make it an adventure! cat_pet_icon

also can you click on my signature link and let me know if it takes you to my spreadsheet please..I think I finally got it attached..there is nothing on it yet and really need an explination on how to fill it out if possible..thank you

Yes, the ss link is working:-)
Ok, the date column is obvious..
AMPS - record the meter reading from the am pre-shot test there.
U - that's where you put the AM dose, like 1.0 or 1.5, whatever you shoot.
PMPS - same thing, but for the PM preshot test.
The +1 to +11 columns - that is where you record any other test you get during the day or night cycles, based on how many hours have passed since the AM or PM shot.
Comments - any info you want to add about anything that day.

Hope that helps:-)
Carl

I am excited with you.
You were feeling so overwhelmed just a short time ago. It starts falling in place.
This is a victory and a wonderful step in the right direction. :RAHCAT
