Good morning all -

I'm taking some meds for an ear infection, which means I was up late last night... and overslept somewhat on Grayson's morning preshot. I thought for sure I would pay for it -mid-reds, but he surprised me instead w/ solid middle pinks (had to test twice to believe it!). Maybe this is the 4.2 kicking in. Hoping so! Maybe the lower start will give us better numbers throughout the day. That's MY plan at least! Let's see if Grayson agrees!

Everyone is enjoying their new little beds. Not sure if I mentioned it, but Walgreens had some cute little beds (dogs and cats - with heads & tails attached) marked down to $2.99. They are a HUGE hit w/ my crowd!!!

I had to laugh out loud about the beds. Beds are a big deal here at our house. Don’t tell the boys, but I buy D-O-G beds for our guys, shhhhhh!

I need big beds for 20 lb. kitties and beds big enough for two big kitties because invariably they both want the SAME bed at the SAME time.

I have the orange kitty bed just like the one in the photo. I didn't know they have them marked down to 2.99, I'll have to go check our Walgreen's later and see if they have some.
 
Luv the pix - wish my guys would use beds...well, they would use beds, but we lofted Joe's and Jessica's, so that just leaves MINE! We've tried all kinds of beds and they snub every one! I told Jessica you said Hope may have found a home and she went all frowny-faced on me. But, I assured her it'd be a good home. She has mentioned Hope several times, speaking of what a sweety she is. But, we sure don't have room for more kitties!

Sorry about your ear infection; hope it clears up soon! And, Grayson even gave you a pink number as a get-well present - what a good boy!

I saw your post on health and just wanted to let you know that I had 3 cats that
had leukemia...lt me know if you have any specific questions as I had them for years and learned a ton!

Thanks! The beds are a HUGE hit! Dom, the big dog, has no idea that it's not the perfect size for him :lol: !

Glad to know someone else w/ experience with leuk cats I will be in touch about that as I learn more. Like I posted, I'm gonna have her retested now that she's big enough to actually get enough blood for a test. She was in pretty bad shape when she first came to me - terribly underweight, and an eye ulcer that looked awful. I'd be thrilled to find out the first test was a false positive... fingers crossed, but likewise need to learn a lot more!

You know, I didn't choose a career in medicine, but I sure have learned more from/on this board in the past 2.5 months than in all of my life combined!
