Good spring morning to all!

Looking forward to beautiful weather this week in NC - the kind I saw when I came to interview 24 years ago... Flowers and trees blooming EVERYWHERE, birds singing (concerts for the kitties sitting in the windows!), and the sun shining down on us! A stark contrast to other parts... but spring will eventually make it there too!

Grayson slept "up front" in the bedroom with me last night. Two of my less-interactive kitties spend most of their time in that bedroom, so before bed I put down two cans of FF. Not sure how much Grayson devoured initially; he may have shared some w/ the girls, or possibly left some for this morning, as his AMPS was 399!!! Holy-de-smokies! No other contraband in the room, so it was either the food or his real number. The good thing was that he wasn't eating table legs this morning... however he still managed to wolf down an entire can w/ his shot, so I think it's safe to say he's got a hearty appetite! He's also starting to fill out his haunches again. Not much, but he's not so waif-looking.

I like spring too! We are supposed to get good weather here in the mountains of NC too! Starting to see some red buds blooming and forsythia's. I LOVE SPRING!

Hope grayson stays out of the pantry and settles down for you. Copper loves to go outside on these warmer days and try to catch "extra" food. The other day he meowed for his food, but too early so he went outside and found him a meal. When i went to find him to feed he was chowing down on a birdie. Half eaten. THought well it's good protein, so just him finish it and fed him less. He loves the moles, birdies and mice. I was hoping that now that i've got him a little more controlled that he would not be as hungry. NOT! He would probably eat 6cans a day if i would let him. Big appetite too! How big is your grayson? Copper is 3ft long and weighs 17lbs and holding. He was 23lbs at one time but that was too much. He is a big boy and hearty. Sounds like grayson is this too!

Grayson was 21.6 pounds in June. 12 in January. YIKES!!! He's got a big frame, but not as long as yours. He should probably be about 16-17 to look healthy. I grow them big at my house... I had 3 20+ pounders. Now only 2!

It's going to feel like spring in Houston all week. It rained all weekend so the flowers are going to be beautiful.

Hope Grayson has some good numbers for you today. ;-)
