Gracie update!

I'm back!!! I missed logging on and chatting with you all, but life calls sometimes.

Anyway, I'm back with some rather sad news. Gracie was Dx'd with a parasite. We got that all cleared up; however, she was also diagnosed with anal prolapse. Which is initially why I took her to the vet in the first place. The vet thought it might clear up due to the parasite, but it hasn't.

Vet said I could try treating OTC a little longer, but if it doesn't improve I may want to consider surgery.

Does anyone have experience with this?

I haven't heard of this before. You might consider posting out on Main to get more eyes on it and see if anyone else knows anything about it.
