Shifted back 2 hours to start back on schedule of work days.

Managed to get Mason to come down from his aerie (an open ended soffit) and eat a bite or two last night and this morning, before jumping back up there. Warming the food so he could smell it seemed to help. He is vocalizing more to me. I wish I had another couple of bedrooms so I could put him in one without Gracie and away from the others. He is so, so. very timid.

Did you take in a new foster or adopt another one? I'm sure if anyone can get him acclimated, you can. :YMHUG:

Mason has been here over 2 years. He was to the point I could pet him, then Mike moved in with 5 much younger cats and 1 older one. The younger ones terrified him and Tux, so I partitioned off about 1/3 of the basement for Mason and Tux. Its where I put Gracie too. Gracie does not like him, and even though she is declawed, she will charge him.

Mason relapsed about a year ago when I put flea treatment on him and it has been very slow winning back his trust. I can see he has lost weight from the narrowness hear his hips.
