Gracie 01/05 to 07/2014

Previously

Gracie continues to do OK. She's gaining back some weight and is not as gaunt as when she started.

Got supplies to do some pipe insulation in the basement as they are prediction -20 degrees over the next 2 days, starting overnight. I'm planning to take them off, as the Raynaud's is excruciating if my hands get cold.

Did you get the new vial?

I'm stocked up on cat food, insulin, back up insulin (NPH bolus) test strips, and syringes. Everything but human food. :roll:

It was such a madhouse I had to bail stocking up on groceries.

Yes, have new vial of ProZinc, bungee wrapped against any mishap.

I've put de-icer in the driver's door locks, sprayed down the windshields with De-icer with some Rainex in it.

Stocked up on soups and crackers; picked up some pipe wrap for the basement pipes.

I put Heet in my tank to protect against furel line freeze up; need to do the other car!

It is frigid up here in Columbus, OH; its just 1 degree, plus wind chill. I've got frost on the inside of my kitchen window. (Note to self: replace ancient kitchen & basement windows!)

I shot late yesterday and when I shot 1 hour earlier this morning, she was lower than I usually see - 218 mg/dL. If I could test her before Mike feeds them, I might want to reduce the dose a touch.

Oh, brrr, BJ. The high here yesterday was 16. Don't care for this weather at all. Pile on the kitties and stay warm.

So much for testing today; I kept falling asleep!

Shot late too, when I wanted to get back on schedule. *sigh*

The outdoor temp is now down to -7 degrees. The power has been going off and on several times in last 30 minutes as I was trying to test and shoot Gracie. Fingers crossed I don't lose it!
