Yea for data! The midcycle numbers look very nice! And at such a small dose. And yes, she seems to be bouncing for pre shots.
There are several approaches to bouncing. All require a time when you can monitor, except the first. One, just stick it out, wait till she decides those lower levels are okay and settles down. With your life, this might be the easiest thing to do. Two, up the dose a smidge and hope that moves everything down a bit. So maybe one unit on the 400s while sticking with .75 on the pinks. Three, raise the dose overall by a little bit. (This approach assumes it is not bouncing but the insulin dose is not enough and thus is just not lasting the full cycle)
Unfortunately no way to know which approach is best or will work. If you can't monitor, #1 probably best. And since it is early on in the sugar dance, letting things ride isn't a bad idea. If you can monitor at night for awhile #2 possibility. If you can monitor consistently, #3 is an option. Regardless, always go with your gut. And don't raise a lot - no more than .25 in any of the scenarios.
Ha, ha. And then I read Ruby's post and there is another possibility. ProZinc is great in that you can try so many different things, hold one for 3 cycles and then try something else. It is infuriating because there are so many options and only Fluffy knows which one might work.
