Hi there everybody
Sorry I haven't posted back, been a bit crazy and I had to get upstate to the rest of my family - they went ahead without me last night so I could attend to Gem.
Don't have much time to write now but I promise I will post The Story of Gem soon.
I just wanted to pop on and let you know that I have read all your messages, over and over, and they mean so much to me. To know that there are all these people out there we've never met who have cheered for us, and now cry with us is really amazing and comforting. I have learned so much from each and every one of you - about diabetes, but also about life and living & loving our pets. Every time I came on here I learned something new, and was always struck by what a strong & loving community this is.
Linda and Bear Man - you have been so supportive of me from day one when I came on here, showing confidence in me that I didn't have in myself. I'm still not sure it was deserved, but I sure did the best I could
Sienne - you were one of the first to welcome me when I came over to LLand, and I want to thank you for your words of wisdom
To all that read about me and Gem and have posted along the way, to those that read and just posted now with their condolences, and to those that have read along and not posted but thought kind thought for us - I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I'm off to enjoy some relaxation time with my family, but I'll post again soon.
