As some of you might know, my Mother has been experiencing some health problems the last few months.

Tomorrow or Friday, my Mother will be undergoing some invasive heart procedures. The Doctor's have tried to avoid this, but it appears this is now necessary. She is presently in the hospital.

I believe in the power of positive thinking and prayer. So, I ask you to please remember my Mother the next few days and keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Truly, I feel kind of funny asking for this request. But, on the other hand I feel really close to you all and wanted you to be aware of what was going on in my life.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Good Vibes Please!

Kim, I'm so sorry .... of course all our prayers and healing vines are being sent out to you and your Mother. Also, try and take care of yourself during this time, we care about you too and of course you should ask this of us ..... this is why we are here, to help and give comfort.

Kim
I went out to the beach an hour or so ago and faced NC to send healing and hoping vibes your way. On the way there, I saw not one, but two grey foxes. (Here that is a good omen!). We only have maybe 15 or so on a 5000 acre island, so seeing one is a rarity, and it means a good day is ahead.

Hugs to you, your mom, and your whole family (and Kitty too!)

Re: Good Vibes Please!--surgery today (Fri)

Thanks again for the thoughts and prayers.

The surgery appears to have been successful. They were able to make the necessary repairs. This was one step in the process of what needs to be accomplished---she now will start some very potent medicines to try and repair her condition. I am very thankful for the successful surgical outcome today and cautiously optimistic about her recovery.

She is in the Critical Care unit, but hopefully will move to a room soon.

Once again, Thanks for the support....NOW go support our boys Asher and Alby. Have you voted today?!

Very glad to hear the surgery was successful.
She will likely take a while to regain her strength, my mother-in-law had a aorta repair and valve replacement and it took awhile to build back her strength but shes doing well now, surgery was over a year ago.
Voted today!
