Hello, My Rocky is currently on day 7 of his OTJ trial :D my question is , is it ok if he stays in the 70's -80's range? I've seen some spreadsheets where people still give insulin with numbers in the 70's for weeks. Is it only because they are TR and the standards are so different? Am I doing the right thing with Rocky? I'm trying not to second guess myself but I want him to have a strong remission if he makes it there also he's never really required large doses and has never been in the red as far as my testing knows. Any words of advice?

Maybe try getting in more tests at night. That might lend a clue.
Either way this post will jump your thread to the top of the list. ;)

Your cat is in normal numbers. I wouldn't worry.

If there was anything you could have done differently, you could have tapered the dose a bit more Generally, we encourage reducing to 0.25u and then to a drop before starting an OTJ trial. That way, you're giving your kitty's pancreas as much support as possible before stopping insulin. But, you didn't do that and Rocky's numbers are fine.
