A month ago, Pokey was diagnosed with Diabetes. We changed his diet to Friskies canned and got his BG down from 400 all the way to 70-125. He's slowly losing weight and looks healthier. He celebrated his 9th birthday yesterday in style. New furry mice (God knows what happened to the other ones) and a new catnip chirping bird. He played hard until I gave him a third a can of Fancy Feast Cod, Sole, and Shrimp Feast. Then an hour of hard play. He tuckered himself out and slept for three hours. I haven't seen him so playful and full of energy in years. I have my kitten back and it's all thanks to other feline diabetic care givers. We are blessed to have your knowledge.
