Good morning. Wish we could meet under better circumstances but so glad to find you all since I'm freaking out more than just a little (glad to see I'm not alone)

I'm Terra and my boy is Ozzie. He was diagnosed just this week and we started ProZinc yesterday. I have no idea what I'm doing and I'm convinced somehow I am going to mess this up and hurt him. I'm sure (hope) it'll get better soon.
 
Welcome! It is very overwhelming at first, but it will get better. The fact that you found this site shows that you are being proactive and trying to learn about diabetes and how to manage it. You might as well 'settle in' by setting up a signature to give us some basic info (like you see in our signatures, the gray text under our posts) so you do not have to repeat everything every time you post.

Post any questions you have on the Health Forum. There are a lot of people here to help and support you... and understand what you are going through.

I felt exactly like you Callie has been on insulin now for about three weeks she used to run from me but now she seems to know when it's time for a shot and wait for me to come and get her and give her her shot. I was really freaking out at first thinking how can I do this but we are in a routine now and it seems to be going well.It will get better.Hang in there.
