Hey Teresa and Lori.....just for some comfort, my Kitty, spilled glucose over in her urine for months as she stayed in numbers above 200 consistently--not just at preshots--she rarely came below 200 even at nadir. It took a long time, to find a dosing regiment that would bring her numbers down. I never checked her urine for glucose, but when she went to the vet for urinalysis she always had glucose in her urine. One of the biggest negatives of glucose in the urine, is it makes for the perfect breeding ground for UTIs.
To help you with your efforts and interest here, I have some urine test strips the vet gave me for Sally. I will check Kitty with a couple of them to see if they test positive. Kitty is pretty much regulated now and is staying below the renal threshold most of the time. I will check her and see what the urine strip reads. It would be interesting information. I would like to know also!
