? Glargine insulin

Hello. I am starting Butch on Glargine insulin 1u 2x. I was told once I start to keep the vital out of the refrigerator but I thought it was best to keep refrigerated. I'm confused?

Keep it in the fridge and it will last you at least 5-6 months. If you forget and leave it out overnight occasionally don’t worry though. Do you have a spreadsheet to share?

Hello!

I keep mine refrigerated going by this information. It should last longer then the manufacture recommended number of days, it takes much longer to go through a pen or vial when we are giving such small doses.
