Oh, the reason I'm considering is that his numbers are still all over the map. I'm at a loss at this point as to what to do.
He's numbers don't look bad, he's seeing a lot of green, though he does seem to bounce up when he hits green.
A couple of things that stand out to me when I look at the numbers,
1) I see two drops below 50, and you didn't take a reduction, how long has he been diabetic?
2) He drops hard and fast, and on both those days when he dropped to 48, I am suspicious that he might have dropped further, and the 48 was him on his way up.
Some Questions
1)How are you feeding Gizzy at the moment?
2)What's his feeding schedule?
3)Remind me what the carb content of the wet food he is getting is.
4) Is he getting into the civies dry food?(contraband)
You may want to think of trying to slow down those fast drops, as those hard and fast drops may well be responsible for the bounces that follow.
Here are a couple of really interesting posts that talk about feeding the curve and bouncing and some strategies that you can try which can help to flatten out those curves
