Just wanted to ask if others out there used pre-cooked frozen shrimp as a treat. I bought a small bag and dethaw a couple of pieces and then feed Milo about half a piece as a treat after tests. He loves the shrimp-- his brother will not touch it... Does anyone see any issues with feeding this?? Milo was first diagnosed in November of 2009, but was OTJ within two months. Unfortunately the honeymoon ended this September. This time around is nothing like the last time, and I don't want to be doing anything that may interfer with my attempt to get him back OTJ!!!

Anything in moderation is ok. My neighbor's cat used to love helping me shell the shrimps - of course when he ate too much....what an icky mess.

I give my cat the shrimp you describe, as a special treat once in a while. He LOVES shrimp! The days he gets them, he may get 4 or 5. I buy the bag of frozen cooked shrimp just for my cat.
