Ghost sarcoma?

Our Civvie Ghost, has what appears (to the vet) to be a sarcoma in the corner of his eye. nailbite_smile I took him to the vet on Tuesday for a biopsy. They got as much of it as they could and will send it in for evaluation. I am concerned since it's so close to his eye, she said they'd have to take the eye and bone structure if it was cancerous. I'm not really easy with that dx. I figure if it's aggresive and comes back we'll keep him happy as long as we can. I don't really hold with such invasive surgery or chemo/rad treatments. :sad: Poor Ghostie, he hates the vets and was so happy to be home. He was loving on everyone, even the cats.

So sorry to hear about Ghost. I miss following your progress with Sam.....and I know you've had a crazy hard year what with your fall and your hubby's health.

Thanks! Lori. I've missed hearing from you too. Sammy is doing so much better on the Lantus. I think he may be close to a break through but don't want to jinx it.

Poor Ghost, I do hope the biopsy turns out for the best. I had to get care credit to help pay since the vets nowdays seem to be an untrustworthy lot, they say, Oh we know you'll pay but you still have to pay up front. Fie I say! At least I don't have to worry to much about the money and they'll be happy for now.
