Come on yellow!

Can you get a +1 or +2 test today, or more?

He did get up to 6 units last time, and you started to see some progress at 5.25. Hopefully, you'll start to see a breakthrough soon. Fingers crossed.

your right ... why is he eating me out of house and home? do you think his numbers are so high because he is eating all the time? if he doesnt eat then he throws up

It looks like he's lost weight recently (kind of a lot in a short time). Are the notes in your spreadsheet correct? If he's getting too thin, I would feed him more. ETA: I can't find the function to strike that out..... I misread your spreadsheet. I thought I saw 12.12 pounds to 11.14 in less than a month, but I was wrong. His weight varies and it seems to just be doing that.

Sorry, he's eating you out of house and home. Once his BGs are in better control, he won't need feel as hungry and need to eat as much.
Is he throwing up white foam or clear liquid when his tummy is empty?

12/22 12.2 12/28 11.14 yep that is less than a month. that is why I took him in and am trying antibiotics. de wormer and next another flea treatment . I moved a litter box upstairs ... seems to help... because he is eating so often is that part of the cause of big numbers?
on nights that he power drinks he throws up clear liquid other days it's foammy and a very small amount

Cindy please be getting ketone test. With these higher numbers and no break in them, he could be throwing ketones which would cause him to be very hungry and to be losing weight. If you can't catch him in the litter box to get a urine ketone test, please buy a blood ketone meter so you can test him. Sorry to sound like a nag, but, take it from someone whose cat had ketones and was BG was stuck and who was losing weight. If you need more info on the ketone meter, please ask and I will be happy to tell you what I know.

Sorry to worry you about his weight previously. I thought I read 12 pounds 12 ounces to 11 pounds 14 ounces which would be almost a pound of weight loss. Really 12.2 to 11.14 is only 4 ounces and that's like a can of cat food. My cats vary in ounces between weighings, depending upon when they ate, drank, or used the litter box last. I keep an eye on his weight and make sure it doesn't continue to go down.
He is eating a lot because insulin is what unlocks the cells so that his body can use the food he eats. If he doesn't have enough insulin, then too much of the food he eats doesn't get into his cells. Once he has the right amount of insulin, then the food he eats will be properly used by his body, and he will not be starving. I once saw a short cute video on this in a veterinary website, but am unable to find it.

info on meter please i have used the strips and its the the normal range I havent written it down because it has nt changed and the blood work at the vet was good

I bought the Abbott Precision Xtra off of Amazon. It's only about 35 dollars. It's the strips that are expensive and the cheapest place I found them are from The Universal Drugstore in Canada. 1-866456-2456 .
