Genteel lancing device

has anyone tried using the Genteel lancing device? the one that supposedly creates a vacuum to draw the blood sample out?

or the EZ-Vac which supposedly does the same thing?

wondering if this would make a difference for me, I have to discard about 1 out of every 5 test strips for "not enough blood" due to Catcat flinching, folding his ear, flicking the blood off, moving so the blood oozes into his ear fur, or trying to escape so the blood coagulates before I get the strip in place

I purchased a Vacu something lancet device many years ago. It did not work on my cats well since to get a vacuum you need a circular area around the puncture site. For cats that area would overlap the the edge of the ear and thus prevent getting a vacuum to draw the blood out. On humans it works since the finger tips provide the necessary area.
