? Generic Lantus?

Does anyone have any info regarding generic lantus coming out in the near future?

There's no "generic" but there's a bio-similar called Basaglar that's a bit cheaper

I tested Basaglar on China and it acts pretty much exactly like Lantus, but since she's been on Lantus all this time, I eventually put her back on Lantus

I got 1 pen of Lantus and 2 pens of Basaglar from my reg dr. (He gave us samples for free and knows what we are using it for). I may switch to it once I am out of Lantus.

It did have to develop it's own depot, but once it stabilized, China went right back to her bad self

Interesting. I did follow the trial you did but don't think I caught it from the very begining. When you switched did you just change from one cycle to the next? Same dosage?

Yes....just shot Lantus one night and Basaglar the next morning

So is the consensus that the Basaglar is pretty decent alternative? What's the price difference? (Can or US?) Just curious thanks all.
