Hi All
Gem's doing pretty well. Energy, alertness still good. More grooming going on, another good sign.
Just spoke to Dr P's assistant, who conveys that after looking at Gem's blood work he wants to increase the trilostane dose - apparently the cortisol level is still way higher than he'd like to see. I asked her about the insulin dose and she said a) talk to your vet (who told me to talk to him!) and then b) let's hold the dose while we're making adjustments to the trilostane - this makes sense to me as we don't want too many variables going on.
On that note though, Gem is throwing me some low (for her) numbers today, after screwing up her dosing times the past few days. I will test her more, and especially before I shoot tonight, but I don't know what to think with these numbers?!?!
Gem likes to keep me on my toes, that's for sure.
