I missed all the excitement! But how great that she is home! I bet she is very proud of herself too!

Yes it is! All night long!

Yaaaayyyy!!! I too was fortunate enough not to see this until Garland was back safe. Terrific news. A friend's cat recently got out and I was just sick about it for the 3-4 days she was missing.

You never know when they are going to sneak past you. I admit I tend to freak out and not be very nice when people don't get in the habit of shutting the door promptly. My in-laws seem to like to stand there in the open doorway and chat with us even though we are always telling them "close the door, close the door" and watching the doorway like hawks to make sure the cats aren't anywhere near it. It drives me absolutely nuts because cats are so sneaky and get out in the blink of an eye. A cat would not survive the day on our extremely busy road. At least a suburb is a somewhat safer environment, though I would still have been beside myself as I know you were too. I am so relieved you have her and Connick back! :-D

I'm SO glad to hear that she's finally home!!! I think that kitty oughta be grounded... For LIFE!!! No more outdoors for her kittyself, I tell you. Uh uh!

I missed all the excitement last night! I'm so glad you found her, Violet!

One of our civies snuck out one night when someone let the dog out. We didn't notice right away, and when we did, we were walking all over the back yard, front yard, calling her, etc....she was hiding behind the grill, literally 3 feet from the door!

I also didn't see this until she came home - lucky me! I have had Kitty go for a walk a couple of times. I too felt I aged a year for every hour he was gone.

Give her scritches for all of us!
