He got a look over from both vets today and both said his sutures looked fine. I did however notice just a little while ago that he'd been licking the hair near the knee site. My guess is that the healing process is making it itchy. I went ahead and gave him more bup in case it was hurting too. He's again smelled at food bowls, but not eating. He also has not had a BM since the morning of surgery, but they said that's normal. He should have one by tomorrow though.
Tigget is also doing better than I expected. Her urine is not very concentrated though and the vet saw some bacteria and because it was taken as a cysto she wants to put her on some Clavamox. I'm fine with that. I forget which is more susceptible to growing bacteria - concentrated or unconcentrated urine? She also has not lost any weight, but to me her body condition is poor. Vet thought she was dehydrated today, even though I gave her 75ml fluids last night.
