A little late this AM too, about +12.5.

I don't know what happened. He did really well after I returned form my trip but the next day we seem to have hit a wall after I dropped the dose. Went back up to 1.3U, but no result. I based today's splits on 1.2U instead of 1.3U.

How about your insulin? Is it OK?

Insulin should be fine. On the last month for this pen though. There's a possibility its his teeth again as his mouth has developed an odor. It was time for his Clindamycin 5 day pulse therapy, which I might extend to 10 days if he turns around over the next few days. He was already better tonight, at 234 with split doses this AM.

I gave 1.2U only tonight BTW.

Yes, tonight was better. Maybe the weather? Did you have thunderstorms overnight last night? We had them this morning around 10:30, so they could have been by you at dawn maybe?

How hot did it get there? It was forecast to be 90 here today - hot and muggy, but after the rain it cooled way down and never made it above 75. It's about 60 here now.

Do you have to do splits again tomorrow?
