FYI re: Pedialyte

I just saw on orphan kitten bottle feeders and foster forum a warning that pedialyte is now adding zinc to the products. Thought all would like to know since some use it .

Hi. I believe Pedialyte has had zinc in it, at least for several years. It does not have much, and some zinc is okay, even beneficial.

This link says, "Cats can tolerate 0.8-9.6 mg/kg/day with no effect on the plasma level of zinc. So no problem of even giving a liter of pedialyte."
