Just when things were (kind of) going well ... may have fur-shot Bat this a.m. Dang it all!!!
She was really uncooperative at AMPS today, and after eating suddenly jumped from the chair during injection - so appears we lost some (if not all) of the 1.5U. (Dang it, I was certain the needle was in. Didn't feel anything wet, but that doesn't mean I didn't miss, either.)
Or could she be bouncing yet again? I will be getting a +6 shortly.
Can someone please look at Bat's spreadsheet & tell me how this is usually handled? Do I shoot her a bit earlier with less insulin? Or what? (She's not due for her night shot until 10 pm if I need to wait the full 12 hrs.)
I'd hate to see her hit the 400s just when it seemed we'd been giving her pancreas some good time to heal!
