Fur Shot....Now what?

Very busy with schedule today and not home much. Had to test him early, +10, and shoot him. Unfortunately, i was in a rush and gave a fur shot. I just got home and haven't tested him yet, but sure he is very high. What should i do now? Should i go ahead and wait until +8hrs and give another shot? Not sure what to do. Hate to have him wait so long without insulin.

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do with a fur shot. No way of telling if any, or how much, made it in. You have to wait till the next scheduled shot.
We usually say "better too high for a few days than too low for even a few minutes." It's okay, not the end of the world. Just a hiccup.

Should i go ahead and test him to see how high he is now. I had read if TID you can shoot w/PZI at least been 6hrs and get a confirmed rise? Can i TID for a day?

Also, his cycle was high and flat today. Agree it's time to go up, of course when i can be home to watch.
