Yo cats and kittens of all ages

It’s time for everyone to gather together for the full moon pawty! Tonight, we celebrate the full Worm Moon! And we have a lunar eclipse too, making this an extra special night for us all. Of course there will be traditional favorites as purrpared by my mentors, Chef Felix, Chef Rusty, and the Kitchen Krews of yore at Worm Moons past:

Appetizers: Wormtinis; Hot Worm Toddies; New-Worm Old Fashioneds; Assorted Paw Prints Pizzas garnished with many varieties of Worms collected by our Pizza Chefs; Worm Rollups with Nip Dip; Sushi Bar specialties of Sushi Chef Tux and featuring worm-caught Hudson River fish in Chef Neko's fabulous Sushi Rolls.

Entrees: Night Crawlers a la King; Grilled Chicken with Red-Wiggler Marinade; Chef Mannie's Renowned Poached PNW Sockeye Salmon with Nip Mayo and Worm-casing Garnish; Chef Rusty's Thunderin' Bison Chili with Fresh Worm Salsa; Squirrel Kabobs; Wormburgers with The Works.

Salads: Central Park Sheep Meadow Greens à la Butthead & Donny with Worm and Vinegar dressing and Crunchy Worm-Casing Croutons; Confetti Slaw with Tiny Worms.

Desserts: Maggie's Signature New York Style Cheesecakes; Sweet-Worm Torte à la Chief Pastry Chef Tess; Tobey's Cimmamum Cookies with Worm Sprinkles; Surprise Dessert à la Dessert Chef Sootie; Chef Stu's World Famous Catmint Parfaits (without worms).

Newer traditions include Bubba's MouseMousse; Leo's Chunky Tuna and Salmon Ice Cream with Sardine Sprinkles; Chef Felix's Sweet and Savory Crunchy Crouton Toppers; Olive's Shoelaceghetti with a side of pickles; TinySolé's sister Cookie's cod brownies filled with catnip; PussCatDusty's crispy birds feet served on baked catnip wafers (mmmmm, crunchy!) as well as her sweet and sour skink tail vol-au-vents & freeze dried plain yoghurt balls; Chef Felix's Mediterranean platter with crunchy falafel, catmint mewli-tabouli, and smoked papurrika hummouse; Chieflet Luna's Longtail Surprise à la Rosa and Regan; KitKat’s Duck pate stuffed cupcakes with catnip icing, served at mousie temperature. You'll find Bella's Catinis at the Bella Memorial Tiki Hut.

As suggested at our last pawty, we’re going to be including local specialties from various countries into our pawty menus. This month, we’re going to have a Spanish theme. Our extra menu items will be Tortilla Espanola (Spanish omelet), Albondigas (Spanish meatballs, also popular in Mexico), and Pulpo al la Gallega made with octopus flown in fresh from Galicia by the flying kangaroos.

Not feeling up to pawtying and dancing? Head on over to the Taster Blankets, including Olive’s Memorial Blanket, which will be set up away from the noise and too much activity for you. Roxi will be running notes back to me and the Kitchen Krew to make sure the food is as good as can be. The blankets have a great view of the Circle of Remembrance too, and all the other kitties will join you at midnight as the veil thins to see all our precious Gone Ahead kitties. It is always so magical to see our friends and family on the other side of the veil

Our very own in-house dance troupe, “Ruby and the Kittens” are already getting warmed up ready to dance the night away. They’d love to have you join them as soon as you’re ready to start pawtying!

So find your best outfits and come join the pawty. We’re going to have so much fun!

Check out our new aprons too! Aren’t they awesome?

Chef Luna

Leroy's coming with a selection of blue and green LL famous insulin shoes for friends to try on :cat: He wants to bring the one and only pair of moon shoes but Squishy won't let him ;)
Mom keeps saying Roxi needs some blue and green shoes - we'll have to make her try those on instead of the yellow and pink ones she's loved to wear for the last 8 years! ~Chef Luna

My kitties are there, and they brought along our seven foster kittens (who I HOPE don't still have worms). Everyone brought their appetites, worms or no worms!

So happy to see @Ella & Rusty & Stu(GA) ! I've been thinking of you, and I hope you and your household have been well. :bighug:

That's quite the apron, Chef Luna! :joyful:

Felix's elderly little co-cat Whiskey hopes Roxi will bring her a plate of Tortilla Espanola and that Roxi will have time to then sit and watch her eat; Whisk always eats extra well when someone watches her eat.

Three-legger Ivan hopes to teach Ruby and the Kittens a little number he's been working on to "At the Hop." He's very good at hopping.

Oh how wonderful - a new family of kittens to join the pawty. We'll make sure to take the very best care of them all for you!

Why thank you! We do love to have a different design every month.

Roxi says she would be delighted to sit with Whiskey for as long as she would like. She'll bring her a big plate of Tortilla Espanola, and some other goodies too.

What fun! I might have to take a little break from the kitchen and join in. Maybe Ivan can teach me to dance too! ~Chef Luna

Gather round kitties. It's time for the very best part of every Full Moon pawty. The Circle of Remembrance is about to start. Be quiet and still and watch for the first glimpse of all our special GA kitties pawtying alongside us at the Bridge. Soon our pawty will resume and we will feast and dance until dawn. But for now, we make the most of every special moment with our loved ones. ~Chef Luna

The menu looks exquisite, Sinver has a surprise in store for you, he is going to wear a Sevillana costume that he wanted to buy for you to see that he is a good Spaniard. The high heels are ready and the comb. What a laugh when I saw him wearing it. I have prepared for him to wear zombie eyes filled with squid ink and pieces of mackerel. He is very excited because he hasn't been there for a long time and he has his batteries charged to be able to dance all night long. He tells his younger siblings that when they grow up he would like to take them to meet them, he is a very good brother. I hope they have fun, he doesn't wait for me to wake up, he usually comes early in the morning, maybe I'm off to work at the hospital... Have a great time.

Sinver you look fabulous in your costume. So much detail and I love the zombie eyes. You are a wonderful Spaniard! Your younger siblings are welcome to join you any time - we love taking care of younger kitties. Sinver will be home when you get home from work - we'll make sure he gets home safe.

I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the pawty Juliette. No need to be shy around us - we love all the kitties. Please make sure to join us again next time. ~Chef Luna
