Yo Kitties, Happy New Year!!
It's here: the full moon. And tonight it's the Full Wolf Moon, so we can howl at the moon all we like. We'll gather at Camp Stu. Bring your scarves and hats and be prepared for COLD temperatures (below zero F.). We'll have fleece blankets and a fire in the fireplace. Out on the lake we can fish through a hole in the ice, clear a patch for ice skating, and we can snowshoe and x-country ski on the lake and through the woods. And, of course, we'll sing and dance and eat! And, best of all, we'll have our Circle of Remembrance when we will remember all of our beloved GAs, especially those who have recently arrived at the Bridge. Emma will pick you up in the L&LL Kitty Bus, where Lola and Bug will be making Paw Prints pizzas and Vanessa will be serving hot drinks. The Flying Kangaroos will bring the kitties from the Southern Hemisphere and make stops to pick up the kitties in Europe. See you all later. Early arrivals can help set up the cabin and get the fire started.

This has reminded my of an old lullaby song my parents used to sing with us when out on car journeys of an evening. I see the words. I feel the love.
"I see the moon the moon sees me
Down through the leaves of the old oak tree
May all the light that shines on me
Shine on the ones I love
Over the mountain over the sea
Back where my heart is longing to be
May all the light that shines on meShine on the ones I love"

Ty & Dust will await the kangaroo bus this evening as the moon comes up. They'll pack their best thermals & hotties as Dust has never seen snow or ice & Ty has seen a few inches of snow maybe twice in his long life.
Ty can wave a paw to our bruiser Hollycat who passed over that rainbow brdige in 2009. They were such pals.

We sang that in 'Camp Fire Girls' (southern small town 'Girl Scouts') when camping as a child...brings back lots of happy memories.

I remember that song from when I was in elementary school! It was very popular. Hey Lyresa, (@Squeaky and KT (GA) ), I would have liked to have been a Camp Fire Girl, but all we had were Girl Scouts. We never even got near a campfire where I lived!

Yo, what a fantastic party! The moon is so bright that it looks like daytime here at the lake. The fishies are just jumping to get the bait, and we are having wonderful sushi. All the kitties are keepin' warm running up and down the hills on snowshoes. The crowd is beginning to gather by the fire for our Circle of Remembrance. Soon we'll see and hear our beloved GAs. This is the best time of the party. I hear the Celestial Chorus!! Oh, how wonderful it is to be here with my friends, waiting to see our pals and brothers and sisters who are our Guardian Angles.

Happy New Year to all the Beans! Don't worry about your kitties. They are nice and warm by the fire.
Startin' the New Year with the Full Wolf Moon. What could be better than that?

(Great pics in the party condo. Such handsome kitties. Party on!)

Myagi and Millie crawled in from the wolf moon party in the wee hours. ;) They thank everyone for a great time and were happy to make so many new friends! It was good for them to see Mercado, Madrigal, Max, Monticello, Cream, Jake and Jackie and Caesar at the Bridge. They brought me back stories of happiness and joy! Thanks @Ella & Rusty & Stu(GA) for holding such a great gathering!!
