Yo cats and kittens of all ages

It’s time for everyone to gather together for the full moon pawty! Tonight, we celebrate the full Sturgeon Moon! Of course there will be traditional favorites as purrpared by my mentors, Chef Felix, Chef Rusty, and the Kitchen Krews of yore at Buck Moons past:

Appetizers: Moon Microbrews; Moontinis and other delicious cocktails; Caviar on Nip Crackers; Assorted Paw Prints Pizzas with Green Cheese; Egg Rolls; Sushi Bar with the specialties of Sushi Chef Tux and featuring Chef Neko's fabulous sushi rolls.

Entrees: Sturgeon Chowder; Shad Roe; Grilled Lake Trout; Flying Squirrel Kabobs; Michigans (red hotdogs with meat sauce--a Northern NY specialty); Chef Rusty's Thunderin' Bison Chili with Fresh Moonberry Salsa; Mousehead Stew (fresh-caught mousies: come early to help hunt); Chef Mannie's Renowned PNW Poached Sockeye Salmon with Nip Mayo.

Salads: Butthead's & Donny's Adirondack Field Greens; Moonshine Slaw; Chef Felix's Sweet and Savory Crunchy Crouton Toppers.

Desserts: Moon Pies; Maggie's Signature Cheesecakes with Wild Blueberries; Tobey's Cimmamoon Cookies; Moondrop Torte à la Chief Pastry Chef Tess; Surprise Dessert à la Dessert Chef Sootie; Chef Stu's World Famous Catmint Parfaits.

Newer traditions include Bubba's MouseMousse; Leo's Chunky Tuna and Salmon Ice Cream with Sardine Sprinkles; Olive's Shoelaceghetti with a side of pickles; TinySolé's sister Cookie's cod brownies filled with catnip; PussCatDusty's crispy birds feet served on baked catnip wafers (mmmmm, crunchy!) as well as her sweet and sour skink tail vol-au-vents & freeze dried plain yoghurt balls; Chef Felix's Mediterranean platter with crunchy falafel, catmint mewli-tabouli, and smoked papurrika hummouse; Chieflet Luna's Longtail Surprise à la Rosa and Regan. Hit the Tiki Hut for Bella's specialties, including catinis and sardine smoothies

The Taster Blankets have been set up just a little away from the hustle and bustle, and we’ll find you a spot on them where you can enjoy the pawty in comfort if you’re not feeling up to dancing. They're the purrfect place to view the Circle of Remembrance at midnight, when the veil thins and we can purrceive our loved ones who have Gone Ahead partying with us. Olive’s Memorial Blanket can be found here too. Kitchen Liaison Roxi will make sure the quality of the food is everything you hope for.

Our very own in-house dance troupe, “Ruby and the Kittens” are already getting warmed up ready to dance the night away. They manage to come up with new and challenging routines every time to entertain you all. They’d love to have you join in and dance with them. Maybe you can teach them your favorite moves too!

DJ Molly will be playing all your favorite music. Let her know what you want to hear.

It’s time to get this party started! Head on over and join us for a day and night of fun!

And, as always, we have our new aprons to wear.

Chef Luna

oooh, Chef Luna. What a great menu! And what a fantastic apron. That fish on the apron looks good enough to eat.
I'm on my way to the party and I'm really hungry. I think the Kangaroos are flying despite Hurricane Henri., but save me some caviar if I'm a little late. I'll surely be there in time for the Circle of Remembrance so I can glimpse my predecessors, Rusty and Stu. And when the dancin' begins I want to get out on the dance floor with all those pretty lady kitties.

Perfect apron for this sturgeon moon!
Ti-mousse and Pepe are a bit lazy tonight; weather is sooo hot here, they are just lying down waiting for a nice breeze! They'll be ready to go soon, Ti-Mousse would never miss such an appetizing menu... For sure, we'll stay for the midnight Remembrance, can't wait to see our sweet and lovely little Peanut and little Zoe!!

I wonder if broomstick are allowed. Will be thinking of everyone.
Come on Paula, Tripper, PJ and Tux are already on the broom handle waiting for you to take them to the pawty!!

It's time to gather around everyone, for our favorite part of the evening - the Circle of Remembrance. The moon is full and high in the sky, the music has stopped for a few minutes. And we're waiting anxiously to catch the first glimpse of our precious GAs beyond the veil where they pawty alongside us at the Bridge. I can hear them...and I think they're just coming into view now! Soon, the pawty will resume on both sides of the veil. But now, take a few minutes quiet and take this chance to talk to our much loved family members and friends who we see best at these pawties. ~Chef Luna

Thanks for another great party, Chef Luna! You must get your aprons at Full-Moon-Cat-Pawties-R-Us, they're always so purrfect. I'm glad the flying kangaroos (and brooms) have ensured that all who want to attend are able to.

Tonight I have a little foster kitten on the Taster Blankets. He was especially hoping to get to sit on the famed Olive Memorial Blankie, and I'm sure the nice kitties there helped him find a spot. Getting to see "Ruby and the Kittens" dance is sure to be the highlight of the party for him. I hope he'll try a taste of lots and lots of the yummies.

Roxi is taking good care of him - making sure he gets an ideal spot to watch all the festivities from the Olive Memorial Blankie. And she's bringing him bits of each dish to try, with more on hand if he finds something he particularly likes. ~Chef Luna

Oh Lyane, How awful that your Ti-Gris has traveled to the Bridge under such awful circumstances. I hope that the thought of all of our GA kitties welcoming him and taking him in their arms will comfort you in this time of grief.

Ella, your kind words are so comforting for me ! Thinking that GA kitties will be there for him will probably make this a little less painful...! Thank you so much ! :bighug:
