Yo Kitties, It's here: The Full Strawberry Moon!! And tonight Neko and Tiger are hosting our Full Strawberry Moon Party in Vancouver BC. All kitties invited to come and celebrate. New kitties are especially welcome. The full moon parties are a FDMB L&LL tradition. The strawberries are ripe in Vancouver, so they will be so fresh and good. We will dance and sing our songs. The Blue Mannie Group will play for the dancing. We will fish in the river and the ocean. We will ride the SKYRIDE to the top of the ridge, where we will have a great view of the full moon (even if it rains, we'll be closer to the moon up there). And, best of all, we'll have our Circle of Remembrance, where we honor our GAs and hope to catch a glimpse of them as they celebrate the full moon at the Bridge. Here's the party menu:
Appetizers: Strawberry Microbrews; Strawberry Sangria; Strawberry Daiquiris; Strawberry Mojitos and other delicious cocktails prepared by L&LL Bartender, Noodle; Pink Shrimp in Nip Wontons dipped in Strawberry Salsa; Assorted Paw Prints Pizzas; Sushi Bar manned by L&LL Sushi Chefs Neko and Tess, featuring fresh river and ocean fish caught by YOU!
Entrees: Lulu's Sardine Souffle with Strawberry Garnish; Grilled Sausage with Strawberry Mustard; Lamb Kabobs; Rotisserie Chicken with Strawberries and Rosemary; Chef Rusty's Thunderin' Bison Chili with Strawberry Salsa; Big Mac's Burger Extravaganza with The Works (and strawberry-balsamic catsup); Chef Mannie's Renowned PNW Poached Sockeye Salmon with Nip Mayo (no strawberries!).
Salads: Butthead's and Donny's British Columbia Field Greens with Wild Strawberries; Chicken, Strawberry and Kale Salad with Ginger-lime Dressing.
Desserts: Maggie's Signature Cheesecakes with Strawberry Topping; Tobey's Cimmamum Cookies; L&LL Chief Pastry Chef Tess's Surprise Strawberry Creation; Chef Stu's World Famous Catmint Parfaits.
