It’s time for everyone to gather together for the full moon pawty! Tonight, we celebrate the full Strawberry Moon! Of course there will be traditional favorites as purrpared by my mentors, Chef Felix, Chef Rusty, and the Kitchen Krews of yore at Strawberry Moons past:

Appetizers: Strawberry Mojitos; Strawberry Sangria; Assorted Adirondack Microbrews; Strawberry Margaritas; Assorted Paw Prints Pizzas: Pink Shrimp in Crunchy Nip Wontons; Pickled Duck Eggs; Sushi Bar featuring the specialties of Sushi Chef Tux and including fresh-caught Lake Fish.

Entrees: Grilled Lake Trout; Grilled Wild Turkey Sausages with Strawberry Garnish; Mousehead Ragout; Chef Rusty's Thunderin' Bison Chili with Fresh Strawberry Salsa; Chef Mannie's Renowned PNW Poached Sockeye Salmon with Nip Mayo; Big Mac's Burger Extravaganza with The Works; Grilled Michigans.

Salads: Butthead's & Donny's Adirondack Field Greens with Chef Felix's Crunchy Strawberry dressing; Confetti Slaw; Chef Felix's Sweet and Savory Crunchy Crouton Toppers.

Newer traditions include Bubba's MouseMousse; Leo's Chunky Tuna and Salmon Ice Cream with Sardine Sprinkles; Olive's Shoelaceghetti with a side of pickles; TinySolé's sister Cookie's cod brownies filled with catnip; PussCatDusty's crispy birds feet served on baked catnip wafers (mmmmm, crunchy!) as well as her sweet and sour skink tail vol-au-vents & freeze dried plain yoghurt balls; Chef Felix's Mediterranean platter with crunchy falafel, catmint mewli-tabouli, and smoked papurrika hummouse; Chieflet Luna's Longtail Surprise à la Rosa and Regan. Not feeling up to too much crazy pawtying? Let us know and we’ll find you a great spot on our Taster Blankets where you’ll also find Olive’s Memorial Blanket. They’re set up away from most of the noise but still provide a perfect view of the Circle of Remembrance. Let Taster-Kitchen Liaison Roxi know how everything tastes!

Our very own in-house dance troupe, “Ruby and the Kittens” are already getting warmed up ready to dance the night away. They’d love to have you join them as soon as you’re ready to start pawtying!

DJ Molly will be playing all your favorite music and is ready to take requests for anything you want to hear. Who can think of some strawberry themed songs for her to play?

This cracked me up! Then I went blank about what to say. Now, after I see Olivia is your feline overlord, I think you guys fit right in, lol!!

Tina loves these parties, and would be happy to show Olivia around. Carbs don’t count during full moon parties, and Tina always brags about the tasty menu. She is still searching for her pawty dress!!

Oh boy! Finally a big PAWTY for Luci to go to! Well, right now she's looking rather exhausted as she's sound asleep here on the tuffet (actually it's a huge footstool, but she likes to refer to it as her big fluffy bed)...and she'll be up soon to join in the festivities with the other kitties dancing and running about. I hope the kitties on the blankets will have plenty of snacks and that those who are up to dancing to all the old songs will be twirling around on the dance floor. All in anticipation of the midnight lifting of the veils when they all get to howl and yowl thru to those Gone Aheads who're over there having a time of it as well.

Oh yes, the Strawberry Moon! Calls for a bucket of fresh mousie strawberries and one of her finest pink frocks - although she has gained a bit of weight since her thyroid ablation she'll have to find one with a tad more room around the waist...she seems to have blimped up recently and has quite the fluffy tummy on her!

Oh well..nothing will keep her away this time...sometime her mama forgets about telling her about these happenings and she doesn't get to attend and I think the last time there was a full moon pawty we were traveling and she wasn't allowed to be out gazing at the moon!

I'm sure we'll all have a wonderful time...I'll be looking for all of my old friends - mama has really been a mess lately with some kind of stressing about dad and her own mama and all sorts of things...I'm being a good girl so that mama can worry about lots of other things!

It's a party for the kitties. People post here on this thread, but most people don't stay up all night to do it. It's for fun since FD can be so stressful.

It just exists here. Just a little bit of less serious stuff given the tight schedule feline diabetes has most of us on. And a way to honor all our gone ahead kitties too.

Best part of these parties: the Circle of Remembrance where the kitties all gather to remember the beloved GAs and communicate with them through the veil. Some of us caregivers take a peak in at these parties too, to remember those we loved and lost.

Um, ok. So you don't notice Roxi soaking her pawsies the next day after running back and forth between the blankets and the kitchen? And how do you explain Maverick coming home to @Christie & Maverick with sardines on his breath?? Just wait until you open a neglected cupboard and a dozen little aprons fall out! Speaking of which, wow Luna, you found an apron with a strawberry-colored cat on it! Felix always enjoyed apron shopping. Thank you for another lovely party.

Yo Kitties, Here I am in Strawberry Fields and I almost missed the party! My beans are in NYC for the week. My mamabean rode 43 miles on her bike yesterday. She was a bit tired when she got back, just as I decided I had to get to the party, so I hailed the nearest kangaroo. What a great party was swinging along when I got there! Kitchen Krew in beautiful aprons, all those fabulous fuds, the dancin’ and the singin’, and, best of all, the Circle of Remembrance: all our GAs were celebrating at the Bridge and I got to see Chef Rusty stirring a great pot of celestial chili, and Chef Stu making catmint parfaits. Perfect! Off now to help clean up our kitchen and nab a few leftovers to take home. See you all next month.

Well Tripper is just worn out from partying. Tux is still revved up and PJ doesn't get why.

They got to say hi to Smokey and Ollie and fill them in on all the family happenings.

It will take a month for mom to work up for July, will be a bitter sweet one.

I'm a day late. We've been feeding a starving raccoon hot dogs, when Lewis found out he went nuts. It's his thyroid. He also gets his meds in probiotic yogurt.
No silverware or wicker picnic basket but next time count us in for some dogs and yogurt.
