Let's gather together, sugars and civvies, for the Full Hunter's Moon! Of course there will be traditional favorites as purrpared by my mentor, Chef Rusty, and the Kitchen Krews of yore at Hunter's Moons past:
Appetizers: Adirondack Microbrews; Hot Tuna Toddies; Moon Broth; Sauteed Mouseballs in Nip Gravy; Chipmunk Fillets; Autumn Insect Crunch; Wild Mushroom Compote; Sushi Bar featuring the specialties of Sushi Chef Tux as well as Chef Neko's fabulous sushi rolls made with fresh-caught Lake Clear fish; Grilled Rabbit Kabobs; Assorted Paw Prints Pizzas.
Entrees: Wild Duck Gumbo; Pheasant Pot Pie; Roasted Wild Turkey; Brunswick Stew; Grilled Lake Trout. Chef Mannie's Renowned PNW Poached Sockeye Salmon with Nip Mayo; Chef Rusty's Thunderin' Bison Chili.
Salads: Butthead's & Donny's Adirondack Field Greens with Sunflower Seeds; Confetti Slaw.
Desserts: Maggie's Signature Cheesecakes with Fresh Cranberries; Tobey's Cimmamum Cookies; Apple Pie à la Chief Pastry Chef Tess; Surprise Dessert à la Dessert Chef Sootie; Chef Stu's World Famous Catmint Parfaits.
Newer traditions include Leo's Chunky Tuna and Salmon Ice Cream with Sardine Sprinkles; Chef Felix's Sweet and Savory Crunchy Crouton Toppers; Olive's Shoelaceghetti with a side of pickles; TinySolé's sister Cookie's cod brownies filled with catnip; PussCatDusty's crispy birds feet served on baked catnip wafers (mmmmm, crunchy!) as well as her sweet and sour skink tail vol-au-vents & freeze dried plain yoghurt balls; Chef Felix's Mediterranean platter with crunchy falafel, catmint mewli-tabouli, and smoked papurrika hummouse; Chieflet Luna's Longtail Surprise à la Rosa and Regan. You'll find Bella's Catinis at the Tiki Hut.

Huntercats and Kitchen Krewcats are working hard and having fun under the fine guidance of Chieflet Luna.

Idjit and his helpers are laying out the Taster Blankets for kitties who are grieving and for kitties who are too unwell for dancing and feasting, and Taster/Kitchen Liaison Roxi wants your honest opinion about how everything tastes. The blankies are a little away from the dancing and whooping-it-up, but there's a good view for the Circle of Remembrance, when the veil thins between us and our beloved GAs at the Rainbow Bridge and we can purrceive them partying with us. Guardian Angel Alex is bringing a loved and revered new angel to the Bridge party, and I'm sure that even our GAs there will feel awe.

Chef Felix, I was waiting a little anxiously for the Full Moon Party notice and wondering where Idjit sneaked off to. So, he is doing one of his most favorite things in the world, getting the taster blankets ready for his friends and waiting to greet old friends and new. A few dances here and there, and the best of all: The Circle of Remembrance with a most special guest. All of our departed are dear, loved and missed and this is a wonderful way to meet and embrace the changes life brings.

Idjit promised he would give my heartfelt love, but told me that this is also a time of joy and celebration. Such a wise fluffy puddy! So....pawty on!!!!, everybody have a great time and enjoy food, dancing and lovin'.

Olive and her house mates are ready and on the way. Ollie is feeling great today and can't wait to greet everyone AND maybe try a dance or two.

Iz can't wait to see Angel Alex and Guest of Honour so iz can thank her personally to help me feel as good as I do.

Luna and Roxi have already left with the gang, who they rounded up early this morning and took control of getting them all ready. Both are looking forward to having lots of fun at the party while making sure everyone else enjoys themselves too. Luna has had the kittens in training all month to teach them some new dance routines and a demonstration of "catch the toy fish" so they can entertain the taster blanket kitties. Luna is taking her new role very seriously and has turned into quite the supervisor at home with the kittens too! Everyone said the menu looks yummy, and Luna is going to do her best to make sure everything is prepared to the high standard that Chef Felix likes to keep in his kitchen. And Roxi is going to make sure that all the kitties at the party agree that the food is purrfect! Luna and Roxi both left messages for everyone before they left too.

Iz looking forward to helping in the kitchen again. Dere will be lots and lots of food for everyone from the yummy menu. Da Krew will be having lots of fun in da kitchen as well as working hard to make sure everything tastes good for dis extra special party wiv our new angel. We are all excited to see her at the Circle - even the kittens know how much she did for all the sugar kitties here. And of course we will all see our other extra special GAs too. Party on everybody and have lots and lots of fun ~Luna

I'm very excited for this party and looking forward to helping the Krew make sure all the food tastes good by passing on everyone's opinions. This is an extra-special party because of our new angel. She was an angel on this side of the veil too - so many cats were helped by her honest and kind advice. And tonight we will get to see her with so many of the precious GA kitties that she helped. I know Rosa is one of those kitties, and Regan too because she loves Rosa so much. And I am one of those kitties too, on this side of the veil. This is going to be a very special party for all the sugar cats and the humans and civvies who love them. ~Roxi

Tears and a heavy heart as we remember tonight the Lioness of our group, Dear Jill. You will forever be in our hearts.

Thank you, everykitty, for making another glorious party. We can see the wonders at the Bridge, and we are purring our gratitude and many of us can't help kneading the ground (or the blankies) in our excitement. As the veil becomes more opaque, we will resume dancing and feasting until dawn. Purr-purr-purr-purr-purr.

Thank you, Chef Felix and all, for making the Full Hunter's Moon so very special in remembrance of Jill. All the food was to die for and wow on the newer traditions. Katie arrived early in hopes of helping the krew. Thank you, as always, for making Maggie's cheesecakes with cranberries. RIP Jill. She helped me with Maggie after one of her dentals when her blood glucose kept dropping so low. The Circle of Remembrance was so beautiful!

Tina told me it was the best she's felt in a long time, after such a glorious experience last night. She is a little tight lipped about the details, but I'm so glad she went. I believe it was the best celebration of life and love our kitties have experienced so far. Many thanks, Chef Felix and everybody else. I hope my kitty leaks more details during the day!

Gus got to the party a bit late, but came home saying how beautiful the Circle of Remembrance was and how great the fuds were. Chef Felix once again put on a fabulous spread.

RIP dear Jill. I know that you were partying at the Bridge, surrounded by all of our GAs, who you helped so much over the years.

p.s. to @Susan&Felix : Sorry to miss the Full Hunters' Moon. That was a very busy week (I overdid it and had a setback with my pneumonia). Then we have had a houseguest for the last 4 days. I hope that you and Felix are doing well.
