Full Hunter's Moon Party tonight, all invited

Kitties All--

Let's gather together, sugars and civvies, for the Full Hunter's Moon! Of course there will be traditional favorites as purrpared by my mentor, Chef Rusty, and the Kitchen Krews of yore at Hunter's Moons past:
Appetizers: Adirondack Microbrews; Hot Tuna Toddies; Moon Broth; Sauteed Mouseballs in Nip Gravy; Chipmunk Fillets; Autumn Insect Crunch; Wild Mushroom Compote; Sushi Bar manned by L&LL Sushi Chef Tux and featuring Chef Neko's fabulous sushi rolls made with fresh-caught Lake Clear fish; Grilled Rabbit Kabobs; Assorted Paw Prints Pizzas.
Entrees: Wild Duck Gumbo; Pheasant Pot Pie; Roasted Wild Turkey; Brunswick Stew; Grilled Lake Trout. Chef Mannie's Renowned PNW Poached Sockeye Salmon with Nip Mayo; Chef Rusty's Thunderin' Bison Chili.
Salads: Butthead's & Donny's Adirondack Field Greens with Sunflower Seeds; Confetti Slaw.
Desserts: Maggie's Signature Cheesecakes with Fresh Cranberries; Tobey's Cimmamum Cookies; Apple Pie à la Chief Pastry Chef Tess; Surprise Dessert à la Dessert Chef Sootie; Chef Stu's World Famous Catmint Parfaits.
And we won't forget our newer traditions, including Leo's Chunky Tuna and Salmon Ice Cream with Sardine Sprinkles and Chef Felix's Sweet and Savory Crunchy Crouton Toppers (not just for salads, they go with everything!). We're also setting up a Tiki Hut here at Camp Stu so that Bella (@Bellasmom) will feel right at home while mixing those catinis!

Fishercats, Huntercats, and Kitchen Krewcats, it's time to work hard and play hard!

Idjit and his helpers are laying out the Taster Blankets for kitties who are grieving and for kitties who are too unwell for dancing and feasting (but we hope we can coax you to have a taste). They're a little away from the dancing and whooping-it-up, but there's a good view for the Circle of Remembrance, when the veil thins between us and our beloved GAs at the Rainbow Bridge and we can purrceive them partying with us. Several of our dear friends went ahead since the last Full Moon; that has made me even lonelier for my mentor, Chef Rusty, and for all GAs.

Do I smell something burning? ... Eek! My crunchy croutons! Gotta go!

Idjit has been advised and is napping now in preparation for his duties tonight. The taster blankets will be in place, with extra soft fleeces piled around for his favored/a little under the weather/friends to lounge against and cover with, as the case may be. All comforts will be attended to, and dainties will be provided. Idjit plans on test tasting all the treats, of course, and will take turns on the dance floor, after all, there are so many beautiful fur gals out there! He holds the Circle of Remembrance close to his heart and is so happy to be invited.
 
Bella is getting the bowls, fish broth ice cubes, and of course the umbrellas ready, lawn chairs are out and he had me go get leis for everyone (catnip dipped) of course, he went and cleaned the tiki hut and made plenty of room for all

Catinis!! woo hoo..but better watch Idjit's consumption Bella, he gets a little tiddly, wobbly and then he falls down!
 
Iz in! Momma had me grounded all day because of something about the 4th cycle on the increased dose and wanting to see how low the dose could take me, blah, blah blah,. Otherwise I would have brought some freshly caught mice and voles. SO , Iz ready to let my fur down and boogie. And dang gonnit! Momma just trimmed my spears. :rolleyes:

On my way with Licorice and Luna. I think I like the tasting blankets best. Mom says I can have a night off from my diet every month now as I'm so close to my target weight even though I keep getting in the trash and stealing anything I can find. The blankets are a great place to see the circle from too so I can see our precious GAs Rosa and Regan. ~Roxi

This is one great party and Camp Stu is rockin’. Chef Felix and the crew get a big thumbs up!
I know that Rusty and all the GAs are partying at the Bridge and looking forward to communicating with their L&LL pals during the Circle of Remembrance. Our L&LL traditions are the best.

Hey Kitties: don’t forget that the most wonderful L&LL party of the year is only a week away: HALLOWEEN!!! on Halloween the veil between the earthly and heavenly realms is the thinnest. You’ll be able to see and hear your GA brothers and sisters, friends and pals really clearly. Wear your Halloween costumes! :cat: :cool::cool: :woot:
