Yo Kitties: Come one, come all to the L&LL December full-moon party: the Full Cold Moon! Yep, it's cold here, but we'll have the party in my barn, where there's a wood stove. We'll go down to the lake to fish through the ice, we'll have a snowball fight, we'll dance and sing, and, best of all, we'll have our Circle of Remembrance, when we remember all of our GA friends, especially those who have so recently gone to the Bridge. This party will kick in the Holidays, so wear your finest holiday garb. See you tonight. Emma will pick you up in the L&LL Kitty Bus, where there will be fleece blankets to wrap up in while Lola and Bug turn out pizzas in the bus oven, and Vanessa brews hot chocolate for all to enjoy. The Flying Kangaroos will pick up all the Aussie kitties and make a stop in Europe.

Party Menu: Full Cold Moon:

Appetizers: Icy Cold Adirondack Microbrews; Hot Tuna Toddies; Roasted Squirrel Sausages; Spicy Buffalo Chicken Wings; Assorted Paw Prints Pizzas; Hot Pumpkin Soup with Crunchy Croutons specially made by Felix; Sushi Bar manned by L&LL Sushi Chef Tux and featuring Chef Neko's fabulous sushi rolls (made with ice-caught lake trout).
Entrees: Chef Rusty's Thunderin' Bison Chili; Grilled Wild Turkey Legs; Pan-fried Snowshoe Hare; Chef Mannie's Renowned PNW Poached Sockeye Salmon with Catnip Mayo; BigMac's Burger Extravaganza.
Salads: Butthead's & Donny's Braised Winter Roots; Hot Confetti Slaw.
Desserts: Moon Pies; Tobey's Cimmamum Cookies; Maggie's Signature Cranberry Cheesecakes; Plum Pudding à la Chief Pastry Chef Tess; Surprise Dessert à la Dessert Chef Sootie; Chef Stu's World Famous Catmint Parfaits.

Kitchen Krew: come early. lots to do, including ice fishing for lake trout. Work crew: come early to help sweep the barn!

Rusty! DUDE! We are so ready! The pizzas are all set, including one that floats on a bed of dry ice, there is this awesome frozen mist.... SWEET! We LUVS the cold full moon. No worries on the hot cocoa though... that will be hot, all kinds of varieties too. In remembrance of our buddy Mannie, we have several infusions for the best hot cocoa ever. He so loved those infusions. See ya soon Rusty. Thanks for hosting, we love those barn parties. We are on our way as soon as Lola can find her fishing pole.

On da way, Auntie Ellabean!! We can’t wait to eat the yummy foods and see all da GAs through da veil. Can you believe Mamabean made us wear these matching sweaters and put on hats??? Geezzz....we are so embarrassed. Livia won’t be able to hear with those little knubs she calls ears covered up! I can’t wait to see you.....

Tobey, I love your and Livvie's sweaters. Rusty says the cimmamum cookies are extra delish. Yes, you and Rusty are equally "best"!
 
Yo Aunties & Uncles,
The party is in full swing. A group of fishercats is just returning from the lake with another catch of lake trout for another round of Tux's sushi. Singing and dancing to the music of the Blue Mannie Group is underway. In a little while we'll have our Circle of Remembrance. The air is so clear tonight and the moon is so huge that I think we'll be able to see and talk to all of our beloved GAs. I can't wait to see them all.
Don't expect your kitties to be home any time soon. Our L&LL kitties are all dressed in their holiday special clothes and they look great. Oh, listen! I hear the Celestial Chorus. The Circle of Remembrance will begin very soon.

We so miss these parties, especially since our Tillie crossed in September to be with our extra sweet boy Zener. It is our first holiday season without a kitty in our house since Liz and I met in 1989. It just doesn’t really feel like Catmus. We are listening carefully tonight for the voices of those who have gone ahead, hoping to hear the sweet sounds of those we love best.

I hope you were able to hear their sweet voices or purrs or maybe in the quiet of the night feel a brush of their soft fur :cat: Merry Christmas to you two.
