It’s time for everyone to gather together for the full moon pawty! Tonight, we celebrate the full Blue Moon! Of course there will be traditional favorites as purrpared by my mentors, Chef Felix, Chef Rusty, and the Kitchen Krews of yore at Blue Moons past:

Appetizers: Blue Moon Microbrews; Blue Moontinis and other delicious cocktails; Vole Bites with Blueberry sauce; Assorted Paw Prints Pizzas with Blue Cheese; Mini Blue Popcorn; Sushi Bar with the specialties of Sushi Chef Tux and featuring Chef Neko's fabulous sushi rolls.

Entrees: Blue Moon Chicken; Chef Rusty's Thunderin' Bison Chili with Fresh Blue Butterfly Peas; Bluefin Tuna with spirulina; Chef Mannie's Renowned PNW Poached Sockeye Salmon with Nip Mayo.

Salads: Butthead's & Donny's Adirondack Field Greens; Blue Kale Slaw; Chef Felix's Sweet and Savory Crunchy Crouton Toppers.

Desserts: Moon Pies; Maggie's Signature Cheesecakes with Wild Blueberries; Tobey's Cimmamoon Cookies; Blue Velvet Layer Cake à la Chief Pastry Chef Tess; Surprise Dessert à la Dessert Chef Sootie; Chef Stu's World Famous Catmint Parfaits.

Newer traditions include Bubba's MouseMousse; Leo's Chunky Tuna and Salmon Ice Cream with Sardine Sprinkles; Olive's Shoelaceghetti with a side of pickles; TinySolé's sister Cookie's cod brownies filled with catnip; PussCatDusty's crispy birds feet served on baked catnip wafers (mmmmm, crunchy!) as well as her sweet and sour skink tail vol-au-vents & freeze dried plain yoghurt balls; Chef Felix's Mediterranean platter with crunchy falafel, catmint mewli-tabouli, and smoked papurrika hummouse; Chieflet Luna's Longtail Surprise à la Rosa and Regan; KitKat’s Duck pate stuffed cupcakes with catnip icing, served at mousie temperature.

Hit the Bella Memorial Tiki Hut for Bella's specialties, including catinis and sardine smoothies

The Taster Blankets have been set up just a little away from the hustle and bustle, and we’ll find you a spot on them where you can enjoy the pawty in comfort if you’re not feeling up to dancing. They're the purrfect place to view the Circle of Remembrance at midnight, when the veil thins and we can purrceive our loved ones who have Gone Ahead partying with us. Please make sure to look out for our new arrivals at the Bridge this month and keep their families in your thoughts tonight!

As always, please let me know if I’ve missed anyone. Especially this month as da beans are away so I’m getting no help from mombean and da catsitter doesn’t know about our pawties (we’re sneaking out tonight)!

Our very own in-house dance troupe, “Ruby and the Kittens” are already getting warmed up ready to dance the night away. They manage to come up with new and challenging routines every time to entertain you all. They’d love to have you join in and dance with them. Maybe you can teach them your favorite moves too!
It’s time to get this party started! Head on over and join us for a day and night of fun!

Jackson will be bringing Sabrina to her first ever full moon party. I'm sure they will dance a lot, but be careful they are foodies too. Hoping they don't eat everything in sight. Jackson can't wait to see Ginger and J.D. 💚 🩵

Great to see you, Jackson! And welcome to the pawty, Sabrina. We're so happy to have you join us. We have plenty of food, so don't worry about eating too much. There's always lots left over! ~ Chef Luna
 
Ohmeowgosh, I'm so ready for a party. There are four 3-month-old foster kittens at my house, and sometimes Momma lets them out of their room now. Without asking purrmission! Sometimes they try to wrassle me. Without asking purrmission! Sometimes they put their faces in my dish while I have my face in my dish. Without asking purrmission! But you know what? That mommacat of theirs? Who I thought was so rude and inexplicable? She turned out to be quite nice after all. She went to the shelter a couple weeks ago, and she got adopted already yesterday. So I raise a glass to Clawdia, who is in her furever home, and to her kittens, who I sure hope will be soon.

Thank you for your hard work, Chef Luna, especially without your mombean. I hope da catsitter spoils you guys.

Oh Ivan. Kittens can be so rude! But they still learning about life. And about who owns each food bowl! I'm glad Clawdia found a good home. I'm sure the kittens will too with you to help them learn. But tonight is for you to have a night off and pawty! ~Chef Luna
 
Kitties all. I am so angry with mombean. She promised to check her messages from me and upload my Circle of Remembrance post on time. But she switched her alarm off and went back to sleep!!! She said something about 5 am when she finally answered me as if dat means anything.

We had a beautiful Circle of Remembrance. Da sky was clear. Da moon was very bright. We were able to see all our beloved GAs who were pawtying hard alongside us. It was a most wonderful time. We are still pawtying for another few hours. Don't expect us home just yet! ~Chef Luna

She admits she was merely asleep, while YOU were managing the kitchen for a huge party? I don't want to sound harsh, because I know your mombean is really nice and tries to do right, but I think you might need to make airplane ears at her until you get some sincere apology slowblinks.

She will be getting da full force of my disapproval da moment she gets home Ivan. Airplane ears, disapproving owl stares, and NO purrs or snuggles until she fixes her cattitude! ~Chef Luna
