Yo cats and kittens of all ages

We have a slightly different pawty this month. The humans are away for the full moon tomorrow and I told them to leave their phones at home for me so I can post the menu, but they’re taking them with them. So we’re starting early and having a 2-day pawty this month – what fun! There’s going to be a lunar eclipse too, so we’ll all be watching for the moon to turn red for a while. It’s time for everyone to gather together for the full moon pawty! Tonight and tomorrow night, we celebrate the full Beaver Moon! Of course there will be traditional favorites as purrpared by my mentors, Chef Felix, Chef Rusty, and the Kitchen Krews of yore at Beaver Moons past:

Appetizers: Moon Microbrews; Moontinis; Pumpkin Soup; Cimmamum-spiced Beaver Chews; Assorted Paw Prints Pizzas; Sushi Bar featuring the specialties of Sushi Chef Tux as well as Chef Neko's fabulous Sushi rolls made with Beaver River Fish.

Entrees: Big Moose Chili; Campfire-Roasted Chicken with Catnip Glaze; Grilled Beaver River Rainbow Trout; Grilled Wild Turkey Sausage with Rosemary and Goat Cheese; Michigans (hotdogs) with the Chef's Special Sauce.

Salads: Beaver River Slaw with Maple Sap; Butthead's and Donny's marinated Adirondack Field Greens; Chef Felix's Sweet and Savory Crunchy Crouton Toppers.

Desserts: Maggie's Signature Pumpkin Cheesecake with Maple Syrup; Tobey's Cimmamum Cookies; Cranberry-Apple Pies à la Chief Pastry Chef Tess; Surprise Riverbank Dessert à la Dessert Chef Sootie.

Newer traditions include Bubba's MouseMousse; Leo's Chunky Tuna and Salmon Ice Cream with Sardine Sprinkles; Olive's Shoelaceghetti with a side of pickles; TinySolé's sister Cookie's cod brownies filled with catnip; PussCatDusty's crispy birds feet served on baked catnip wafers (mmmmm, crunchy!) as well as her sweet and sour skink tail vol-au-vents & freeze dried plain yoghurt balls; Chef Felix's Mediterranean platter with crunchy falafel, catmint mewli-tabouli, and smoked papurrika hummouse; Chieflet Luna's Longtail Surprise à la Rosa and Regan. You’ll find Bella’s catinis at the Tiki Hut.

Don’t worry if you’re not feeling up to dancing all night! The Taster Blankets are set up and ready for you to relax on. They're the purrfect place to view the Circle of Remembrance at midnight, when the veil thins and we can purrceive our loved ones who have Gone Ahead partying with us. Olive’s Memorial Blanket can be found here too. Kitchen Liaison Roxi is ready for your feedback for the Krew as well as bringing you whatever food you would like to try.

“Ruby and the Kittens” are ready to entertain you and help you dance the night away. They’ve been practicing new moves since the last pawty – I think they’re getting ready for Christmas already! Come and join them on the dance floor and show them your best moves too!

DJ Molly will be playing all your favorite tunes. Let her know what you want to hear – she has a huge collection of all kinds of music to delight everyone.

So head on over and let’s get this pawty started!

Check out our new aprons too – aren’t they fun?

What a pawty this has been. And we're not done yet! Last night we saw the lunar eclipse which was so much fun to watch. And now we're getting ready for the Circle at midnight - our favorite part of every Full Moon when we get to see all our precious GAs at the Bridge pawtying alongside us. After that special and quiet time, the music will restart and we'll pawty until dawn! ~ Chef Luna
